Puerto Rico leads Beautimometer Ranking for Miss Universe 2006

Zuleyka Rivera leads our first beautimometer ranking for Miss Universe 2006 which means Puerto Rico is the early front-runner for the mikimoto crown. The pageant-crazy nation proves to the world once again that Puerto Rico is a powerhouse in beauty pageants specially that their bet to this year’s Miss Universe is a shoo-in for the crown.
Zuleyka was born on October 3, 1987 in Salinas Puerto Rico, the place she represent in their national pageant last November 2005 in which she was the crowd favorite. Cynthia Olavarria, the former Miss Puerto Rico, also came from Salinas. Aside from winning the crown and the right to represent her country in Miss Universe, Zuleyka also won Best in swimsuit and best hair.
Pageant fans all over the world are eyeing on this Puerto Rican beauty as the early favorite and the one to beat in the upcoming Miss Universe 2006. Can she maintain the expectations of the people as the pageant gets nigh? We will see her progress here in our Beautimometer.
2nd to Zuleyka in our ranking is Canada’s Alice Panikian who is a titleholder herself of a minor beauty pageant and one of the tallest candidates this year. 3rd is Asia’s hottest so far Miss Indonesia.
