I'm excited. This is a little spoiler so if you don't want to know the result until the local broadcast of American Idol tonight, please don't proceed to read the whole article.

Let’s review our scoreboard last night. The highest score went to Elliott Yamin–9.45. On second place is Taylor Hicks with 9.25. Based from our scoreboard, Elliott and Taylor should get the top 2 most number of votes right? And they should be safe.

Bottom 2 is Katharine McPhee and Chris Daughtry! It’s interesting to note that these 2 also got the lowest scores in our starmometer scoreboard.

It’s time to announce who’s safe and who’s eliminated. Last week, our choice for who SHOULD be eliminated is Christ Daughtry and who WILL be eliminated is Paris Bennett. Last night, our choice for who SHOULD be eliminated is still Chris Daughtry (or Katharine) and guess what again…

I’m completely satisfied with the result!!! Thank you America! Thanks for saving Elliott! American wants to give Katharine a second chance because she’s a hardworker. Me too were amused on how Kat’s giving her best effort to win the contest. Last week she made idol history by singing on her knees. Last night, she made another idol history by consolidating two songs into one arrangement. I think the effort paid off. I really like her to be in the semi-finals, i really do.
