Rosita Bareng—May Attitude Problem Or Simply Misunderstood?

The perfect epitome of “bagong bayani” is 25 year-old Rosita Bareng, a domestic helper in Dubai who quit her job to pursue her dream in singing. Rosita worked in Dubai to be able to send her siblings to school. But now she’s inside the academy to gamble for stardom—the “greener” pasteur—to collide with 19 other talented scholars for the top prize. But the gamble seems a bad deal for Rosita as she was nominated for expulsion last week. I even predicted in my previous post that if she didn’t receive the highest votes, she’s gone. Because i don’t believe the teachers will vote for her and even her co-scholars because they find Rosita to have an attitude problem. I believe she’s just misunderstood dahil na rin sa hirap na pinagdaanan niya from just selling barbecue to being a domestic helper para lang makapag-aral ang mga kapatid niya.
