Michelle Bond joined the TFC audition for Pinoy Dream Academy in Milan, Italy. Isiniland siya at lumaki sa Amsterdam, Netherlands. People often ask her how she’s related to James Bond. Born on June 17, 1982, she has been singing since she was 8 as a choir member. She also speaks fluent Tagalog. “My mom is from Mabini, Batangas, and I’ve visited our relatives there 13 times,” she says. “I have a younger brother. Our dad died from cancer when I was 2 and my brother was only 21 days old. My mom never remarried.”
Michelle left a Vietnamese boyfriend who owns a martial arts school in Amsterdam. What was the first thing she did after finding out she qualified as a scholar? “I borrowed a cell phone and called up my mom to inform her about it. We were both crying.”
