Philippine Idol Wildcard Results

The results show started at 9:25 p.m., a little late because Shall We Dance was also live last night because of their season finale where Roderick Paulate and his partner have just won P 500,000.00.
Philippine Idol started with the 10 wildcard contestants performing a poorly choreographed number, although the singing is quite good. ABC please hire a choreographer!
The first to hear the results are Ken, Onyx and Joseph. My choice among these 3 is Joseph Astor but it’s Ken Dingle who will move on to the Top 12.
Ryan called Ting alone only to deliver the bad news. The Davaoeña didn’t make it. Then Ryan called Ira and Stef. Among these two, I prefer Ira because Stef didn’t bring it last Saturday night (refer to my previous comments). But its Stef who will move on to the final 12 and Ira was also eliminated. At this time, my disappointment started to boil. Parang nararamdaman ko na hindi makakapasok sina Gian at Mau. I can’t imagine a final 12 without Gian and Mau.
The last 2 boys were called—Ramirr and Gian. Ryan asked them kung ano masasabi nila sa isa’t-isa. They said they became close friends and it doesn’t matter kung sino sa kanila ang papasok. Of course Gian is my choice. What a relief when Ryan announced that Gian is the last male finalist!
Then the last 2 girls, Suey and Mau, were called. Suey comforted Mau and said “Akala ni Mau matatanggal siya e.” Mau answered “Mas maganda ka e. Pagandahan naman kasi ito e.” Mau’s quick wit earned applause from the judges and the audience as well. And she started crying. Damang-dama niya na di siya makakapasok. But she was wrong. Ryan called her name as the last finalist to complete the top 12!
Of course, masaya na rin ako sa result. At least di nasayang ang pagboto ko kina Mau at Gian hehehe. So here’s the last four finalist to complete the top 12:
