Maureen Marcelo has an African American father to whom she inherited her looks. She has won a number of singing competitions and having been included in Philippine Idol Top 12 is her greatest achievement yet. Before she auditions in Philippine Idol, she’s the lead singer of the band Chemical Supreme.
Do you agree with Ryan Cayabyab’s comment on Mau that her talent is world class? And that perhaps Mau will be the first Philippine Idol? Among the girls, who do you think is her biggest threat?

To ABC 5, sana damihan niyoang exposure ni Mau, sayang kung di siya sisikat. Last saw her sa Shall we dance. Kasi pag lumipas ang pagkakataon, she would have missed the train to stardom, sayang naman.
Hindi ko alam if it is an exclusive contract with abc 5 pero definitely channel 2 will not root for her, as well as 7 kasi may sairli silang PDA, PBB at Starstruck.
