Naglibog - Jay-R Siaboc

November 30, 2006 by cd · 16 Comments

This is my favorite performance among the 10 scholars in Pinoy Dream Academy last Saturday. Naglibog is a tagalog-visayan song which means “nalilito”. At first i was intrigued with the song and why such choice until Jay-R Siaboc performed it with passion and conviction. The song is requested by his mom and i think it’s one of his band’s (Scrambled Eggs) original composition. With this song, Jay-R’s range was shown. His hitting the high notes in the chorus was just sensational with a little Jay-r flavor that only him could deliver. For me, he’s the top student for the night followed by Ronnie Liang.

Someday - Nina Lyrics

November 30, 2006 by cd · 190 Comments

Someday you’re gonna realize
One day you’ll see this through my eyes
By then I won’t even be there
I’ll be happy somewhere
Even if I cared

I know you don’t really see my worth
You think you’re the last guy on earth
Well I’ve got news for you
I know I’m not that strong
But it won’t take long
Won’t take long (cause)

Chorus:

Someday someone’s gonna love me
The way I wanted you to need me
Someday someone’s gonna take your place
One day I’ll forget about you
You’ll see, I won’t even miss you
Someday someday

Right now I know you can tell
I’m down and I’m not doing well
But one day these tears they will all run dry
I won’t have to cry, sweet goodbye

(Repeat Chorus)

I know someone’s gonna be there

(Repeat Chorus)

I Believe - Gerald Santos MP3 + Lyrics

November 30, 2006 by cd · 14 Comments

Gently close the door come here
We’re all alone and there’s no need to fear
It’s been a while since we last met
I understand if you have been upset

Hold me now, just allow your heart to reach out
Just erase all your doubts
We’re gonna be just fine
We’re gonna work it out somehow

Chorus:
Coz i believe you and me
We’re meant to be together
I believe in my dreams that this is meant forever
Through it all, we won’t fall
I know we’ll fly across the stars
No matter how far they are
Coz i believe
I believe

Muli - Gabby Eigenmann Lyrics

November 30, 2006 by cd · 5 Comments
