Chai Leaves the Academy

Last night is “music icons” night in Pinoy Dream Academy in which the remaining scholars get the opportunity to sing songs of the industry’s “giants” without the pressure of being compared to them. It was also the 8th expulsion night, and as predicted earlier, the rest of the scholars will pick between Chai and Eman and it was the closest decision ever with Eman winning by just 1 vote. Chai received 5 votes from her colleagues while Eman got 6, with Chad breaking the tie as the last scholar to cast his vote.
My prediction came true with Ronnie receiving the most number of votes and Rosita being saved by the faculty (Someone taught me faculty is already plural so forgive me from saying “faculties” in my previous posts. Cut me some slack guys, i’m still learning how to polish my grammar, tao lang po :) )
And as for their performances last night on who did good and who did “gooder”, let’s do the point system (this is just my opinion guys on which performances made a greater impact on me):

- Ronnie Liang – 9.5
- Yvan Lambatan – 9.5
- Panky Trinidad – 8.8
- Jay R Siaboc – 8.8
- Rosita Bareng – 8.6
- Yeng Constantino – 8.5
- Davey Langit – 8.5
- Eman Abatayo – 8.5
- Irish Fullerton – 8.4
- Chai Fonacier – 8.4
- Chad Peralta – 7.6 (The flats are still there)
- Michelle Bond – 7.5
