54th Famas Awards Night Held At Last

After months of delay, the 54th Famas Awards Night was finally held Sunday night at the NBN 4 studio. Robin Padilla wins Best Actor for La Visa Loca, his fourth after Gawad Tanglaw, Urian and Golden Screen Enpress. Claudine Baretto wins Best Actress for Dubai. This is her second Best Actress Famas, her first was just last year for Milan.
The night’s biggest winner was Star Cinema’s Nasaan Ka Man for bagging Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress for Hilda Koronel, Best Story and Screenplay (yup, there are separate trophies for those), Best Cinematography, Best Musical Score and Best Theme Song.
Other winners are: Best Supporting Actor for John Lloyd Cruz (Dubai), Best Child Actor for BJ Tolits Forbes (Exodus), Best Child Actress for Ella Guevarra for Birhen ng Manaoag, Best Editing for Mga Pusang Gala, Best Sound for Dubai, Best Art Direction for Enteng Kabisote 2 and Best Visual Effects for Exodus.
