Miriam Quiambao is No. 57 Most Beautiful Filipina

Miriam Quiambao is back in the limelight after separating from her husband in two years and living in Hong Kong. In the Kapuso network, she can be seen every Sunday night in the travel program Pinoy Meets World. She can also be seen in the public affairs late night program Palaban. In QTV, sister company of channel 7, she hosts the program Dahil Sa Iyong Paglisan.
To date, Miriam is still the last Filipina to have placed in the Miss Universe pageant. She won 1st runner-up in 1999. This year, she’s our no. 57 Most Beautiful Filipina.

i think she should placed higher than No. 57…maybe in the TOP 10 is justifiable.

it is hard to be a finalist in a prestigeous pageant like miss universe but she did it and make nour country proud so i think that she have to place into the top ten cause she deserves it…

as far as i remember she was the only 1 who gave pride and honor to our country
(ever since the Ms. U held in the Phils.. so its like 5 years ago b4 1999)
Winning the 1st runner Ms. U, during that time was indeed a reminder to all Filipinos, that we are STILL world class! and can still conquer the Universe… i agree she shud be in top 10!

I wanted to thank you for writing on this topic. I use to find these kind of things very degrading. I would watch beauty contests and feel sorry for the women in them. Then I found out that they have at least some for men. So I felt a little better about them….a little. I had not heard about this one before though. I looked up some pictures of her and think that she is very good looking. I know that is not all that goes into it however. I would like to know more about her as a person. Are than any sites that talk about her like this? I do also want to wish her luck with this. Does she have a personal site that you could send her fan mail to? I really would like to be able to show support to her.

Talking about brain, body, and beauty, Miriam has it all. If we include elegance, attitude and background she will still be in the top list.
