The Philippines received 8 nominations in the prestigious 48th New York Festivals in the television programming and promotion category—3 from ABS CBN and 5 from GMA.

In the Film Category, GMA 7 scored another nod with its Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado starrer Moments of Love in the Feature Length: Action/Adventure category.
In the Video Category, Fruits of Partnership by MAD COMM is nominated in the Consumer Information sub-category. The Probe Media Foundation, on the other hand, is nominated in the Community Affairs sub-category with their video called Salibatbat.
