Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo Is Taking Over the Top Spot

From Jan. 1 to Jan.5, Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo beats Enteng Kabisote 3 at the box-office. And here are the total grosses of the nine entries as of January 4, 2006 according to MMDA which is behind the Metro Manila Filmfest:
1. Enteng Kabisote 3 – P112,456,584.00
2. Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo – P107,496,737.00
3. Shake, Rattle and Roll 9 – P48,675,732.00
4. Matakot Ka Sa Karma – P20,426,950.00
5. Mano Po 5: Gua Ai Di – P19,431,403.00
6. Super Noypi – P17,309,117.00
7. Zsa Zsa Zaturnah – P10,643,358.00
8. Ligalig – P6,841,770.00
9. Tatlong Baraha – P3,673,623.00
If you will add the grosses for Jan. 5 until Jan. 7 (today) which is the last day of the MMFF, and based from the trend:
Jan. 1 – KKK earned P11.5M VS EK3 P10.4M
Jan. 2 – KKK earned P9.7M VS EK3 P7.1M
Jan. 3 – KKK earned P6.4M VS EK3 P3.2M
Jan. 4 – KKK earned P4.3M VS EK3 P1.8M
…then, by now, Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo might have overtaken Enteng Kabisote 3 in the box office race. If ever they did, will the MMDA take the Best Picture trophy from EK3 and give it to KKK? I really believe they should since their “criteria” for choosing the Best Picture is 40% box office success.
Today we will watch Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo to make it no. 1 in the box office and to shame the MMDA and their stupid criteria in choosing the Best Picture. Well…another reason is word of mouth. Those who watched KKK guarantee that it is worth-watching. Bakit nga ba eto pa ang pinalagpas ko?

i think that they shouldnt do that because it is already given the trophy to EK..yes..nag kamali ang
MMDA sa decisyong ito..but cmmon now..it is not EK’s fault y dis has happen..and plus..the stupid thing about this MMFF..is that they take it soo freakin seriously..when they know it has controversy every year..if you think your movie is deserving for that spot then it is..wag ng makipag away pa just for the trophy..(trophy lang yan..)..they should just b happy that philippines movie is making some money..cause as far as i remember..it was only 2002 that the box-office has only made 1 million..diba..so just be proud..award na award na yan..walang kwenta..napaka pathetic mo naman kung makikipag away ka pa only for one trophy..that only few people thinks that deserve it..if you or more people thinks KKK deserve it then..it does diba..

i agree…dapat nmn talagang pabayaan na ang nang yari …yun na ang decision nila..hindi na dapat makipag away pa…maganda rin naman yung enteng kabisote kaya nga umabot cla nang part 3….

if i were KKK, i’d rather forget the awards night, di na tayo nasanay, hehe… the fact that their movie earned the highest, dapat masaya na sila dun.. oo nga, the trophy means so much for them, we must not forget the primary reason on why we produce movies, at yun ay para kumita.. congratulations to kkk, though!!

no!..dapat sa KKK ibigay ang award!..dati pa tlaga..alam naman nating ang KKK tlga dapat manalo eh..dba?..
for me..KKK deserves the award for its their achievement for being the best picture..for me i guess, the MMDA should be punished becoz of this incident..
no.1 ang KKK! and you can see nman na tlagang dapat sa kanila ang award! they should give the award becoz KKK really deserves it..

yes…No. 1 tlaga ang kkk…may aral kpang makuha…hnd yung char char ek ek lang yung pna panood ng mga tao…kkk is d best…mwla pa yung pagud mo sa kakatawa…for all of them No. 1 tlaga ang kkk…khit saan mang mundo…pati nga cla korina napa bilib sa kkk na movie…haller sa tao’ng nag compare kay juday at vic sotto….haller ang bobo nyo…ano bang kalaban laban ni vic….kay juday…hahahahha…c juady pwd sa pang comedy…pwd rin sa pang romance…pwd rin sa suspense…pwd rin sa pang drama…c vic sotto haller hanggang comedy lang yan xa….isapa mas deserve man tlaga ang kkk kay sa ek…dpat nasa knila ang award na yun…i agree that na dpat bigyan ng parusa ang MMDA….
