American Idol Results – 4 Semi-finalists Homeward Bound

The show kicked-off with the Final 24 semi-finalists singing “Sowing the Seeds of Love” by Tears for Fears.
Ryan Seacrest called the first half of the top twelve boys: Brandon Rogers, Sundance Head, Chris Richardson, Nick Pedro, Blake Lewis and Paul Kim. All are safe except for the last guy standing – Paul Kim. Paul was eliminated and Sundance Head was safe.
And then Paul sang “I’m never gonna dance again, guilty feet have got no rhythm.” Yes Paul, your feet are guilty!!! Sana di ka na lang nag-paa.
Ryan next called the first half of the Top 12 girls: Jordin Sparks, Stephanie Edwards, Sabrina Sloan, Leslie Hunt, Melinda Doolittle
and Antonella Barba. All are safe except for…Antonella Barba was safe?!! Ryan then called Amy Krebs to take center stage only to tell her that she is going home.
Amy Krebs sang “I Can’t Make You Love Me.†Indeed, she can’t make America love her.
Lakisha Jones has the best song choice of all singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going…You’re Gonna Love Me.” And look at her, she’s not going anywhere because America loves her.
Song choice. Song choice. Song choice. Does the message of the song brings luck or bad luck to the contestant singing it? Let’s see. The remaining girls who were safe are Haley Scarnato, Gina Glocksen and Alaina Alexander. Nicole Tranquillo was the second of the top 12 girls eliminated from the competition. And what did she sing? Stay. How ironic because she’s not staying in the competition hehehe.
Finally, Ryan called the six remaining boys: Chris Sligh, Phil Stacey, Jared Cotter, AJ Tabaldo, Sanjaya Malakar and Rudy Cardenas. Rudy ended the show singing “Free Ride” because, you guessed it right, he’s the fourth semi-finalist to go home.
