After losing in season 3 of American Idol, winning an Oscar is more than “not bad”! Congratulations Jennifer Hudson for a well-deserved win. For me, dapat nasa lead actress category si Jennifer because with an excellent performance like that, she’s the star of Dreamgirls!
I heard the role was first offered to Fantasia. I’m not sure why she declined. Nanghihinayang na siguro ngayon si Fantasia.

Fantasia did not decline the role. She auditioned but she was not chosen. Jennifer Hudson was chosen over Fantasia. Fantasia would have taken the role if it was offered to her.
