If Lakisha Jones topped last week’s battle of the divas, this week Melinda Doolittle definitely grabbed the spotlight from her. The barbie dolls Antonella Barba and Alaina Alexander, on the other hand, are vying for the worst of the night award because they received the most hard-hitting criticisms from the judges.

Contrary to the guys’ stepped up performances yesterday, the girls lost some wow factor tonight making the battle of the sexes on equal footing. But if you will ask me if this year’s American idol would be a she or a he, i gotta say a she. But there are 2 or 3 guys who might pull a surprise as the competition goes on.
