Before the top 8 guys perform, Ryan Seacrest revealed an important thingy to be announced on the results show this Thursday (Friday in Manila). I’m a little intrigued by this teaser because he said that it is one of the most important events in idol history. I’m guessing (or maybe wishful thinking) they’re bringing back the wildcard segment since 2 of the better guys were eliminated last week. Or maybe the producers of American Idol have just bought the franchise for World Idol where idol winners around the world will compete in Hollywood. We shall see this Thursday.

For now let’s analyze the overall output of the guys tonight shall we? When the judges assessed that only 4 or 3 and a half (Simon’s analysis) guys are worthy to enter the finals, we all know that tonight’s show really sucked. Are the guys just merely interesting personalities that’s why people are voting them? Are we just being wowed by Jared’s facial expressions that we don’t care what he is singing? Or being entertained by Chris Sligh’s comedic remarks that we fail to discern that vocally, he’s just ok, not great-not bad, just ok. And i really missed AJ!!!
