Idol Results – Gina Glocksen is Going Home

The top 9 finalists were grouped into 3 – the top group, the middle and the bottom 3. Ryan put the first group – Lakisha, Jordin and Melinda to safety. And Ryan hinted that they were the top 3.

So the two remaining group will be either the middle or the bottom 3. The group of guys containing Blake, Chris and Sanjaya were put to safety. That means, the bottom 3 for tonight are Gina Glocksen, Phil Stacey and Haley Scarnato.

Before the eliminations, guest star Michael Buble performed “Call Me Irresistible” on stage. And if the pitchy rendition wasn’t “irresistible” enough, Buble cracked an Antonella joke and suggested to the kids watching to steal their parents’ credit card and buy his cd. He could have been an American Idol you know.

After the break, Ryan gets back to business. He put Phil to safety leaving Haley and Gina in trouble. But Haley’s shiny legs worked for her because Gina is going home tonight instead.

Like what i said yesterday, it’s gonna be a shocking results show because the so-called “weaklings” brought it at a performance level last night. Everyone did a great job. Those who are vocally strong showcased their range. On the other hand, those who are not that vocally superior did something more in their performance. So who would have thought that it’s Gina getting the boot?
