Sanjaya Malakar sported the pirate look and sang “Besame Mucho.†After receiving positive reviews from the judges including Simon, Sanjaya made himself the “Dark Horse” of American Idol season 6.
Randy Jackson said “You’re one of the smartest contestants I’ve ever met, dude. That was actually really good.†Paula Abdul said “Really good pitch, smooth, it was nice.†Simon Cowell said “I couldn’t understand a word of it. You sang like a fourteen year old, and I’m going to hate myself for this. It wasn’t horrible.â€

honestly, i think this was his best performance.
i love this guy to death he’s a really good singer.
