DVD Review: It’s A Boy Girl Thing
It’s A Boy Girl Thing is a 2006 body swap romantic comedy film starring Samaire Armstrong (The OC, Just My Luck) and Kevin Zegers (Wrong Turn, Zoom). The film was directed by Nick Hurran, written by Geoff Deane (Kinky Boots).
Gist: Nell Bedworth (Samaire Armstrong) is a smart, awkward, “pencil-necked virgin” hoping to pass her interview to get into Yale. Her next-door-neighbour, Woody Deane (Kevin Zegers), is into loud hiphop, dates a cheerleader and wants to get a football scholarship to college. The two despise each other - until a completely arbitrary visit to an exhibit of Mayan artefacts (that are later described as ‘Aztec’) causes the two to wake up in the strangest of places: each other’s bodies. Desperate to reverse the curse, the bickering duo must work together to preserve their goals and wind up falling in love in the process.

Naka-relate si Miriam Quiambao, 1st Runner up sa Miss Universe pageant noong 1999, sa nangyari kay Miss USA kung saan nadulas ang huli sa Evening Gown competition sa live telecast ng Miss Universe pageant kahapon while more than 1 billion people are watching in their homes around the world.
Mas masuwerte nga lang si Miriam dahil sa preliminary competition siya nadulas at hindi sa pageant proper kung saan live na nanonood ang buong mundo. At nakita naman natin kung paano binawi ni Miriam ang pagkakadulas niya sa final competition kung saan ipinamalas niya ang husay niya sa pagrampa sa evening gown at swimsuit competition sa live telecast ng Miss Universe noong 1999.
Seiko Films’ “Silip” is Bringing Sexy Back in RP Cinema

Seiko Films, the film studio known for releasing sex-oriented movies in the 90’s, is taking a long shot this year on their sexy movie Silip starring Polo Ravales, Francine Prieto and Diana Zubiri. The sexy movie genre, otherwise known as the TF (Titillating Films), died on the day SM Cinemas banned the showing of Rated R-18 movies on it’s theaters nationwide. It’s been a long time before the last sexy movie was shown in mainstream theaters and Seiko Films is taking a courageous move to bring “sexy” back in Philippine cinemas
Director Joel Lamangan is hoping for an R-13 rating from the MTRCB so that Silip can be shown in all SM theaters nationwide. He said that Silip wasn’t a bold movie and it’s more of an artfilm. But the publicity stills speak otherwise because it showed the two sexy stars Diana Zubiri and Francine Prieto with their breasts exposed, and Polo Ravales showing his butt.
