For her first song, Lakisha Jones sang “Staying Alive.†Randy Jackson said “Lakisha, that was weird for me.†Paula Abdul said “Taking the tempo down, took everyone ready to be dancing, and it kind of brought the mood down a little bit.†Simon Cowell said “Well, Lakisha, no kiss tonight, baby.â€
For her second song, Lakisha Jones sang “Run To Me.†Randy Jackson said “I know you got a little hoarse at the end, but it was much better than the first song that you did tonight.†Paula Abdul said “You’re still a champ.†Simon Cowell said “It was better than the first song. It still wasn’t great.â€
Simon may be right in saying Lakisha’s performances tonight were not great but they were not her worst either. She escaped eliminations from previous results show but i think tomorrow, for lack of solid fanbase compared to Blake, it would be the end of the road for her.
