On the 1st round, Blake Lewis sang “Roxanne,†which was selected by Paula Abdul. Randy Jackson said “All in all, I’ve got to give you an ‘A’ on that.†Paula Abdul said “It was fresh, I really loved it.†Simon Cowell said “It was good, it wasn’t great.â€
On the 2nd round Blake sang Maroon 5′s “This Love,†which was selected by the producers. Randy Jackson said “Very nicely done.†Paula Abdul said “This is a good night for you.†Simon Cowell said “Actually, I preferred that one to the first song, Blake.â€
On the 3rd round, Blake sang “When I Get You Alone†which is his own song choice. Randy Jackson said “It was alright.†Paula Abdul said “I think you had three great songs, three great performances.†Simon Cowell said “I actually really liked that.â€
