American Film Institute’s Top 100 Greatest Movies of All Time

The American Film Institute (AFI) has released its annual list of the Top 100 greatest movies of all time with Citizen Kane (1941) topping the list once again. Most of the movies selected were shown before the year that i was born so i'm guessing the committee that compiled it are old people. Movies that made it to the list which i was able to watch are Gone with the Wind (#6), Schindler's List, Star Wars (#13), E.T. (#24), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (#34), The Sound of Music (#40), Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (#50), Raiders of the Lost Ark (#66), Unforgiven (#68), Saving Private Ryan (#71), The Shawshank Redemption (#72), The Silence of the Lambs (#74), Forrest Gump (#76), Titanic (#83), Platoon (#86), The Sixth Sense (#89), Pulp Fiction (#94) and Toy Story (#99). That's 17 out of 100 and i call myself a movie addict at that?!! Only one movie from this millennium made it to the list and it's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Where is the English Patient? Fargo? The Piano? Crash? As far as im concerned, i don't like their picks. So, I've decided to make my own list of 100 Greatest Movies of All Time. Please check it out tomorrow and tell me what you think about my list, ok? (The complete list after the jump)
