Amanda “Mandy” Leigh Moore (born April 10, 1984) is an American pop singer, songwriter and actress. She grew up in Florida and came to fame as a teenager in the early 2000s, after the release of her teen-oriented pop albums So Real, I Wanna Be with You, Mandy Moore, and Coverage. Moore has branched out into a film career, starring in 2002’s A Walk to Remember and later appearing in the lead roles of other movies also aimed at teenage audiences. Two of her later films, American Dreamz and Saved!, were satires in which Moore portrayed darker characters than in her previous roles. Moore’s private life, including her relationships with tennis player Andy Roddick and actors Wilmer Valderrama and Zach Braff, has been much discussed in the media. Moore’s fifth album, Wild Hope, was released in 2007.
Cherry Pie Picache Wins Best Actress in India Filmfest
Cherry Pie Picache was named Best Actress at the just-concluded Osians Cine Fan Filmfest in New Delhi, India, for Seiko Films’ Foster Child, directed by Brillante Mendoza.
The jurors cited Cherry Pie ‘for her portrayal of the character Thelma, the foster mother. Cherry Pie has delivered a performance that has managed to make even a fictional story look very much like a slice of life.’
It’s Cherry Pie’s second international Best Actress award this year, coming after the Durban International Filmfest in South Africa (for her role as a lesbian in Kaleldo, also by Mendoza).

When Elliott Yamin re-entered our charts 5 weeks ago, who would have thought that it will peak yet again to no. 1 position after it topped our charts a couple of months ago when his album was released in the US. The American Idol 3rd placer last year is still gaining attention on various local radio stations.
We have 2 new entries this week, the highest is Fall Out Boy’s The Take Over, The Break’s Over debuting at no. 7.
Debuting at no. 8 is High School Musical sweetheart Ashley Tisdale with her single “We’ll Be Together“.

Alfred Vargas, born in San Juan, Metro Manila on October 24, 1981, is a kapuso actor. Vargas started his career as a member of ABS-CBN Star Circle acting workshop batch 10. From there he had his TV role in the drama soap opera Pangako Sa Yo (My Promise to You) from the same network. But this Ateneo de Manila graduate was acting in theater long before the talent scouts lured him into television.

Good karma nga ba ang nararanasan ngayon ni Wendy Valdez dahil pagkatapos mag-premiere ang first starring role niya na Margarita sa ABS CBN kahapon, siya naman ang covergirl ng Maxim magazine for the month of August.
Siguro ang pagpapakatotoo niya sa Pinoy Big Brother house ang nagbigay sa kanya ng good karma. I am not a converted Wendy hater to Wendy fanatic but i can see some possibilities that we can act “mabait” and we can choose to be true to ourself. And Wendy chose not to act mabait obviously that’s why televiewers hate her.
