The Singing Bee Smashes US Summer TV Ratings Records

The world premiere of The Singing Bee, a karaoke singing competition hosted by N’Sync’s Joey Fatone, scored the highest overall viewership of any summer series telecast on any network so far this year. In overall total viewers, “Singing Bee” was the most-watched new summer series premiere on any network in more than two years, since the debut of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” on June 1, 2005. For NBC it was the most-watched summer series premiere in total viewers in at least 13 years.
I thought it’s going to be a “copycat” of our very own “K the 1,000,000 Pesos Videoke Challenge” but i was wrong. The game has different twists and the whole 30 minutes was filled with excitement it feels like only 5 minutes. And Joey Fatone is a very good host.
