The Online Film Community’s Top 100 Movies of All Time

Remember the list Top 100 Greatest Movies of All Time compiled by the American Film Institute and was released some time in June? Some people are not happy with the list that's why a group of Online Movie Critics from sites like Rotten Tomatoes and Film Spotting has joined together to make a list of their own. I am really disappointed with this new list because they excluded Titanic and Forrest Gump, two movies that were in the AFI list and of course, in our very own Starmometer's List. But what i like about this new list is that they have 5 movies from the new millennium as compared to AFI's only 1. The 5 "newer" films are Memento (2000), Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), The Incredibles (2004) and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004). I also like their decision to include Foreign Language films in the list. Plus, all genres are well represented like the inclusion of The Matrix (science fiction), Die Hard (action), Halloween (horror), Terminator 2 (action/scifi), Aliens (scifi/suspense), Run Lola Run (romantic thriller) and Ghostbusters (?).
