The Next Great American Band to Premiere in October

The Producers behind the mega-hit phenomenon “American Idol” are embarking on a quest to find the best undiscovered bands in America. The show has a working title “The Next Great American Band” and it’s kinda like American Idol for bands, as simple as that. The show will have a two-hour premiere on October 19, Friday, 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The judges (to be announced) will narrow down thousands of hopefuls to the ten most talented bands. These semi-finalists will be challenged with a new theme each week, then perform in front of a live studio audience. Viewers will vote for their favorite bands to determine who stays in the competition.
