We pinoys are known for being “melodramatic” or emotional. Watch any local reality competition and you’ll find most, if not all, of the contestants sobbing and shedding some tears. Even the guys, they’re not afraid to show their emotions. This is also the reason why teledramas, telenovelas and teleseryes are big hits in our primetime television. The heavier the drama, the better. Admit it, it’s in our nature to love watching sad movies for a good cry. It’s kinda connected in our culture or way of life or something.
