‘Hindi Mandadaya ang Wowowee’ – ABS-CBN

Hinarap na ng ABS-CBN Head for TV production Cory Vidanes ang isyung pumapalibot sa Wilyonaryo segment ng Wowowee. Inamin ni Vidanes na nagkaroon ng pagkakamali sa disenyo ng mga “wheels” na ginamit sa larong Wilyonaryo. Ayon sa kanya, normal lang ang mga technical “glitch” sa kahit anong game shows sa buong mundo. Tiniyak niya na hindi ito pagtatangka ng pandaraya at “honest mistake” lamang ang nangyari.
This is the first time that the footage of the said incident was shown on television after 10 days of the actual telecast. Bandila lang ang nakapaglabas ng footage na ito (except for Youtube of course). GMA 7 wasn’t able to show the footage (maybe ABS-CBN didn’t share the clips to them, i don’t know), instead, they show some “sketches” of the footage which is quite interesting.

“Bakit hindi niyo muna ipaliwanag bago ninyo ipasa ang sisi at para malihis ang atensyon ng humihingi ng tanong na bakit nagkaganon,” ito ang katanungang ibinalik ni Joey de Leon para kay Willie Revillame.

ABS-CBN’s Official Statement Regarding the Wilyonaryo Controversy

ABS-CBN finally released an Official Statement regarding the Wilyonaryo controversy that started last August 20 on the noontime show “Wowowee.” The main issue is the part when the number zero accidentally appeared in the wheel which is supposed to contain the number 2 for P 2 million and Willie Revillame is holding the film containing that number.
