“Gotta Go My Own Way” is originally sung by Vanessa Hudgens from the highly successful High School Musical 2 with a special participation of Zac Efron in the end part. Nikki Gil and composer-vocalist Arnie Mendaros made a cover of the Disney ballad for the Asian edition of High School Musical 2 Original Soundtrack.

hindi ko feel ung emotion ng kanta at ung pinahihiwatig ng kanta,,ang pangit ng kanta nya..mas maganda ung original mas feel ko emotions..ito basta kanta na lng eh..mas magaling pa si vanessa,,sino ung kumanta sa part ni zac..?hindi nya abot ung matass kaya medyo binaba ung tono

mas dama mo yung pain ke vanessa, pero ayoko ng kanya masyadong matinis. mas gusto ko yung ke nikki, smooth, kaso less emotion. mas pop yung version ni nikki, kay V medyo pang theater

Hello?? Vanessa and Zac\’s performance is of course so much better than that of the asian version, naturally bacause they\’re the original cast…but i have got to admit, mas gusto ko yung version ni Nikki…Not only that she sang the song well, the story in the vid was totally intact with the song. You can really relate to what was happening there…like, it happens to all of us.

ngeee!! syempre magkaibang style talaga yung pgkakakanta ni vanessa kesa kay nikki dhil pang-album ung kay Nikki. ung kay vanessa pang theater so dpat lng na mas dramatic. basta gusto ko ung story o message nung song kasi there are times talaga na you just need some time away from each other. hindi nmn ibig sbihin nun hindi ka ngmahal ng totoo minsa talagang you have to let go. sbi nga nila \
