The highly anticipated "Pilat" episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya last Friday starring Sam Milby and Angel Locsin failed to enter the top 10 programs in the primetime block.

This is how tough to penetrate the primetime block that even a high rating of 21.7 percent, one of MMK’s highest in months, was not enough to enter Friday’s top 10 primetime programs. The “Pilat” MMK episode of Angel and Sam was beaten by Jumong’s final episode which gathered 29.6 percent, primetime’s no. 5 last Friday.

Bubble Gang, despite a late night schedule, has managed to get a 22.3 percent with first of their two-part series called “Dosena.”

Marimar remains the only show to surpass the 40 percent mark, a comfortable 41% last Friday. Zaido was second and 24 Oras was 3rd. Only 3 shows from ABS-CBN were able to penetrate the top 10 last Friday and these programs are Kokey, Lastikman and Ysabella.

In the daytime programming, GMA soaps continued its dominion with Kung Mahawi Man ang Ulap at no.1 and Pasan Ko ang Daigdig at no.2.

Kapamilya Deal or No Deal has beaten it’s rival game show Whammy! by gathering a 19% rating last Friday. Pilipinas Game KNB? was also victorious against it’s rival show.
