Princess Sarah Debuts at No. 6, Ysabella Out of the Top 10
November 14, 2007 by cd
Two shows ended gracefully last Friday. Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap aired its final episode at no. 1 position in the daytime category while Kokey ended as the no. 1 primetime program from ABS-CBN, and fifth overall.
Super Inggo 1.5 was not able to maintain it’s lead on Saturday programs as Eat Bulaga retained its supremacy in the daytime race. Wish Ko Lang and Fantastic Man were also ahead of young superhero last Saturday.
Takeshi’s Castle grabbed the no. 1 spot on Sunday’s daytime race leaving musical variety shows SOP and ASAP in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. In the primetime race, however, Tok Tok Tok Isang Milyon Pasok captured the top spot from previous leader Kap’s Amazing Stories which is also from GMA.
On Monday, many are expecting that mega-production Princess Sarah would be ABS-CBN’s no. 1 primetime program but the anime-turned-teleserye only registered 27.1% which is good for 6th place and 2nd among ABS-CBN shows. Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 captured 4th place overall. Sadly, Judy Ann Santos‘ Ysabella is no longer visible in the race.

Haaaay!!!! I remember some another pralaling 2 years ago, when Eric John Salut made an article in his column in Pilipino Star Ngayon, showcasing Kampanerang Kuba’s victory over Darna and Encantadia, hitting a whopping (whopping daw, o!) 44% compared to Darna’s and Encantadia’s 41% each. Same information was contained in Ador Saluta’s column ni Bulgar on the same day.
Well I just shrugged it off since after subsequent days, Darna and Encantadia has continuously smashed Kampanerang Kuba to its defeat until their series finale, until I found out that Kampanerang Kuba didn’t actually hit 44% but ranging from 29% to 33% as its peak—-whether Megamanila or Nationwide, and that is manifested thru some blogs and forums. It can be also read in Wikipedia.
So the 44% **** was all but …. ****, of course. Eric John Salut and Ador Saluta has made nothing but lies.
Anyway, whether that Nationwide ratings is true or not, so what? Kung isusuma total mo ang percentage ng bawat shows, talunan pa rin kung tutuusin ang MMK showcasing Angel Locsin for the 1st time.
Ano ‘yun? Para palabasin na nagniningning pa rin si Angel whereas in fact, her fame is diminishing little by little? Nakakatawa…. Devah naman?
And how come that Nationwide ratings is being received daily samantalang weekly naman ang release ‘nun. Usually, quarterly pa nga eh.
Naalala ko nga ang Rounin mania kuno, na naka-40% ang ratings based on Nationwide ratings, pero in the long run, Rounin went sooooo unlucky that it’s being constantly being beaten in Megamanila and failed to make it to the Top 20 NUTAM for 2nd Quarter. Worse, it has tragically ended by rating only a single-digit, so much for the humiliation being received by ABS-CBN from GMA-7 and MBC’s Jumong.
If NUTAM is what advertisers are after of, then why GMA-7 constantly receiving complaints from viewers due to commercial overloading, leaving the audience to bore to rot because time is given mostly on TVC’s than the show itself.
If MEGATAM is not so important, then why the airing schedule of ABS-CBN Primetime shows changes soooo usual like almost every other week or every other month?
Don’t get me started by telling me “to satisfy the audience” ****. Besides, if you are to satisfy the audience, why has some of your shows turned suicidal like your Rounin, Which Star Are You From, Deal or No Deal and Sineserye, na lahat pinantapat ninyo sa Jumong na ang ending ay ligwak?
GMA has been consistent with their scheduling, and they really give more priority on local shows than their canned Korean dramas thru earlier scheduling.
Schedule can be a factor but not always a reason.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
For your information Angel, you are just way an overrated star who, in the end, will be using any institution or people for your self-gain. Kailangan mo pa ba ng ABS-CBN for your acting prowess to grow or any talent to develop with? You are just an equally lame actress as Jennylyn Mercado but if I compare you, Jen’s way an even total performer than you do.
You are just way lucky to achieve limelight despite plain looks and a meager talent (to quote Pete A.)
First off, a talent should come from within. The purpose of workshops is NOT to make a talent or skill out of you BUT just mere developing of a skill. Second, their talent growth depends on those who are taking up workshops… depending on how fast can they pick up every detail. Lastly, workshops can’t guarantee that you can have all the talent by up to 100%.
To tell you frankly, eventhough there are some changes in your acting, your acting capacity still can’t be called exceptional. Bali-baliko pa rin ang “dela”, Kulang sa bigat ang bawat emosyong binibitawan, and you are too tranquil. You can’t even host, and you actually had a ghost singer during your ASAP Welcome Party, because you can’t achieve exceptionality in singing the fast-track way (imagine, around 1 week or less? Go figure!) no matter gaano kabilis ka pumik-ap. Absolutely, you can’t even dance. Anne Curtis can dance (even when she was still in GMA-7) though remained in moderate level up to now.
Next, admit it you are after ABS-CBN’s offer alongside your equally schemingly porky manager Becky Aguila. Your insistence that “you voluntarily moved to ABS-CBN” is completely a mere hogwash and totally dubious. BTW, where is the supposed boutique shop you are going to establish along with your so-called richy-rich boyfriend? How’s your studies in London THE REAL WAY? I guess they just all ended up like some friggin’ gimmicks for you to be able to delude showbiz aficionados about the real scenario regarding your transfer. Pralala-ek lang naman pala ang boutique chenes na iyan eh! Mukhang nagkunchabahan kayo ng ABS-CBN para mapalabas that you are studying in London.
Everything about you are just turning dubious.
‘Di ba, Pete Ampoloquio?
Then, there are some news that you rejected the role of Marimar as offered by GMA-7. You never gave a comment on that, until on your recent prescon that you liked the role but GMA-7 denied that to you, thus given to Marian Rivera.
That is so ludicrous of you, lady!
It’s like you are using Marimar fever and Marian Rivera to regain your diminishing popularity thru saying that aside from adding another stain on the part of GMA-7 (pagmukhaing nagmamaramot ba?). And the saying “Marimar was my dream role” just adds up to your desperation to clean up your tarnished image, in which you are the one who did that to yourself. Karay-karay mo pa ang pangit at babuytang manager mo at ABS-CBN sa kacheapan mo.
And in case GMA actually didn’t give this to you, so what??? There is more to life than Marimar. This role is to awkward for you to portray it, so to speak.
Anyways, your statement that Marian is the reason why you left GMA is really unbelievable. Mukha kang manggagamit.
BTW… I hope that you read a stark article of Pete Ampoloquio so that you will find out how morbid can you get when you do this role.
You’ve never won an acting award. All you got are popularity and sexiest awards respectively.
Yet, do you need ABS-CBN to make things happen for you? How senseless?
Kuya Germs has his point. The problem in in you. You never took some initiative to enhance your acting skills. (click the link)
Oh… I have said enough.
Think before you speak.
And to her cohorts (Becky, Vinia Vivar, Reggee Bonoan, Cristy Fermin) tigilan na ang pralaling. It’s like tolerating a demon inside a person. You’re just keeping an imp as a pet.

At least abs don’t cheat just like GMA…. ratings are fluke. And infact, TPAM is right, GMA pays people to watch their boring programs (I except Marimar). And it’s clear you’re a dork that only watch the GMA network not anything else. Sorry, but no offense… this is just for squatter-stryker who is a die-hard fan of that stupid network!
