RP Wins 2nd Runner-up in Miss International Queen 2007

The Philippine delegate to the Miss International Queen 2007 in Thailand, Chanel Madrigal, won 2nd runner-up. Last year, RP’s bet Patricia Montecarlo won 1st runner-up in the popular annual beauty contest for transvestites.
Hometown delegate Miss Thailand won the title while a representative from Brazil won 1st runner-up.
It looks like our trannies are doing great in beauty contests this year compared to our binibinis who didn’t even penetrate the semis in Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Tourism Queen and Miss Earth. Let’s cross our fingers for Maggie Wilson and hope that she will qualify for the top 15 in Miss World come December 1, 2007.
