GMA 7 Dominates Daytime and Primetime Programming

GMA 7 captured the no. 1 spot on both daytime and primetime blocks from Monday to Wednesday this week according to AGB Nielsen. The kapuso station is more consistent in the primetime block as the no. 1 to no. 5 programs remain unchanged. In the daytime block, however, the top spot is being contested by Whammy! Push Your Luck and Daisy Siyete. And from time to time, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal is able to pull a surprise.
Here are the Top 10 shows for daytime and primetime programs from November 26 to 28 among Mega Manila households:

According to a Nielsen Media Research in urban areas, ABS-CBN, The Philippine Daily Inquirer, FHM Magazine and FM radio station Magic 89.9 top their corresponding categories as the traditional media most preferred by three market segments.

Nielsen defined the affluent as those living in posh, “gated villages” with income higher than P50,000 a month, while the teens are those in the 13-19 age bracket regardless of economic bracket. OFW beneficiaries, meanwhile, are those with a member of the family working abroad.
