Jewel Fatima Avejade Mische (born on June 29, 1990 in Manila, Philippines) is a Filipina actress who became the first Ultimate Sweetheart of StarStruck. Her father is of German-American descent while her mother is a pure Filipina. Right now she is continuing her education as a junior at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. As of September 1, 2007, Jewel Mische is a Regal Films contract star.
After winning Ultimate Sweetheart on GMA’s season 4 of Starstruck, Jewel’s television shows now include SOP Rules, Black Jewel in the Palace, Fantastic Man, Mga Mata ni Anghelita and Kamandag where she is now one of the leading ladies of Richard Gutierrez.
Her first movie is the upcoming Regal horror film Shake, Rattle and Roll 9. She will also star in the movie Dagaw in 2008.
Her endorsements include Dutch Mill Yogurt Drink, Smart Talk, Ricky Reyes Beauty Products and BNY.
Jewel ranks no. 28 in this year’s FHM World’s Sexiest Women list.
Last year’s no. 3 was Sarah Geronimo. Jewel is the highest new entry this year. She received 1,590 votes in the Top 30 poll.
