Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo (born July 25, 1988) the third of four children of Delfin Geronimo and Divina Tua-Geronimo. Sarah grew up in a rented house in Sta. Cruz, Manila. She is also the niece of TV host of “Ating Alamin”, Gerry Geronimo.
To say that Sarah possesses a natural love to perform is an understatement. As a child, she actively participated in school programs and joined many singing contests throughout her childhood. At the age of three, she was casted in the kiddie show “Pen pen de Sarapen.” She also took part in “For Kids Only” and “Hiraya Manawari” and later on became part of the first batch of stars in the hit kiddie afternoon program “Ang TV.” Yet it was Sarah’s talent for singing that would cause her father to focus on developing it by enrolling her at the “Center for Pop Music, Philippines” at six years of age. Her father also encouraged little Sarah to train at home for two hours each day.
Sarah continues to enthrall Filipino audiences locally and abroad. In 2007 alone, Sarah has toured major cities in the US, Australia, Canada, Europe and UAE.
She is currently a mainstay of ASAP ‘07, a once-a-week, noontime musical variety show, and also hosts Little Big Superstar, a reality star search program for aspiring child performers that has recently concluded its third season. She also takes the female lead role in primetime drama Pangarap Na Bituin opposite Jericho Rosales, that is currently aired in ABS-CBN.
Also, she staged a sold-out second major solo concert last July 14, 2007 at the Araneta Coliseum entitled Sarah Geronimo In Motion where she astonished her audience with her ultimate dancing skills and unwavering multi-faceted singing prowess. Sarah also concluded Sarah Geronimo In Motion US tour last August-September 2007 with an astounding reception from Filipino communities in the US.
After staging her highly successful second solo major concert at the Araneta Coliseum, she released her fourth studio album entitled Taking Flight which has since sold over 15,000 copies, achieving Gold status in a short period after its release.
Furthermore, she signed up several endorsement contracts that includes a campaign for Senator Edgardo Angara’s 2007 Senatorial Bid, Hapee Toothgels, Extreme Magic Sing Videoke Microphone and Belo Medical Group.
Last year’s no. 2 was Kristine Hermosa. Sarah climbed 1 notch this year. She received 1,776 votes in the Top 30 poll.

I was told by a friend who frequents this forum about the long usapan regarding the Claudine vs. Angel issue. I don’t go to forums but maybe I just needed to say whatever it is that I saw that Friday and what I heard from my brother. Nag-effort pa ako magregister because ang haba ng ng tinakbo ng thread ninyo and naawa lang ako sa mga nadamay and sa nasisisi. Mamili na lang kayo kung ano ako: Customer, Staff of ASAP, Technician, Assistant sa Parlor, Bading na nagsuklay kay Angel or Claudine.
I had to read all your comments before I make my comment/post. I have to say kudos to cherika and may_muy for all the infos they got and posted here. They’re right. Honestly, they’re being UBER nice pa nga to Angel with everything they posted here sa girltalk. Before I expound on anything, I just wanted to say that I’m neither on Claudine nor Angel’s side and I will merely state the facts that I saw and infos that I got from my brother who works @ abs. And I’ll try to be nice as well.
Peaceful ang parlor but because merong Claudine and Angel na “nag-uusap” natural lang na magtinginan sa kanilang dalawa ang mga tao. Some parts of their conversation mahirap maintindihan because mahina pa ang boses nila at first, at least for Claudine. I heard Angel mention Kris Aquino, Judy Ann Santos, Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, Kim Chiu, Becky Aguila, Malou Santos. Sumigaw si Angel kay Claudine na ayaw ng mga tao sa akin, sina Bea, Kim Chiu ayaw sa akin
It’s true that, at first, okey pa ang usapan nilang 2 although nagtataas na ng boses si Angel. I caught her saying: “hindi naman ikaw ang problema ko but si Juday” Nagrereklamo sya kay Claudine na marami sa abs (not just the actors) ang may ayaw sa kanya and she even enumerated their names. Until napag-usapan ang isang lady producer. I heard it clearly that Claudine asked Angel if it’s’ true na si Lady producer na ang nagmamanage sa kanya. I didn’t hear what the makeup artist said but sinabi ng kalapit ko na sinabi lang nito na: “nakinig ko rin yon” Angel got her phone and it seems like she doesn’t know what to tell Claudine. It was a simple question which she could not answer (unless there’s something). After a while, I saw Claudine went outside and, after a few minutes, Angel followed pero pumasok rin sya agad. It was super fast. She went to Claudine’s makeup artist para iconfront ito na bakit daw sya pinag-uusapan, na bakit daw pinagkakalat ng ibang tao that there’s something going on between her and the lady producer. Nakatingin lang ang makeup artist sa kanya at lahat ng tao nakatingin lang kay Angel. I saw a different Angel and dun ko nalaman na may katotohanan pala sa sinasabi ng brother ko. PUmasok si Claudine and lahat naman kami sa kanya tumingin. Claudine raised her voice “Ano ba ang problema mo?”. She asked Angel why she is creating a scene, why hindi na lang sila pumasok nung kakausapin nya sa isang kwarto para hindi nabubulabog ang mga kliyente. Many customers had the same sentiment at that time which is: high ba si Angel? Sinabi ni Claudine na kailangan ni Angel na matutong makisama at makihalubilo sa mga tao sa dos. Hindi IYAK ang ginawa ni Angel but HAGULGOL. Pataasan pa sila ng boses at first pero in the end, napagod na yata si Angel. Angel started it. May nabasa ako here which says that it was Claudine who started it. But I beg to disagree. Everyone who saw what happened will unanimously name Angel. Nilayasan na lang sya ng maraming tao.
I think someone mentioned that the hairstylist started the gulo sa salon. But this is false. Wala rin akong nakinig na nagsorry si Angel kay Claudine. Walang apology at all. I and those na nasa salon should know dahil all ears na kaming lahat.
Nabasa ko dito that Angel is close sa mga kasama nya sa Lobo? Maybe she’s close to some but not sa lead actor of Lobo and even to the directors of Lobo nagka-problem si Angel. Ask Angel kung ilang beses silang nag-away at bati ng lead actor pero sana sa simpleng tanong na yan ay masagot nya. Why is there a need for Angel to shout, growl and make a scene if there’s nothing going on between her and the produ? Yun ang pinaka issue. Marami kayong hindi nalalaman about Angel. Kalat sa ABS ang nangyari at ang ugali nya. When she got to ABS, affected ang stars na ka-age nya like Bea and Anne and muntik na nga si Anne umalis sa dos.
Claudine is not perfect. Angel is not perfect. Pero sa mga nakita ko at nakinig ko wala sa tamang katinuan si Angel ng mga oras na yon. We have our perceptions about people pero sana wag naman natin masyadong iglorify ang isang tao. Tao lang yan and baka madisappoint lang kayo. Nirerespeto ko ang ibang fan ni Angel who are vocal sa pagsasabi na hindi ito palaaway pero sana maintindihan nyo rin ako na ito ang nakita ko at ng maraming tao
