GMA Still On Top According to New Media Research Company

In the wake of the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court against AGB Nielsen Media Research Philippines, another research company, TNS or Taylor Nelson Sofres, released the outcome of the tv ratings for Wednesday, December 19, 2007. GMA shows still topped the daytime and primetime blocks of the ratings game and the ranking of shows are similar to the previous rankings based from the ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen.
According to TNS, the no. 1 daytime program on Wednesday was Whammy: Push Your Luck! and the no. 1 primetime program was Marimar, both are GMA programs. Just like the data from AGB, the top 5 primetime tv programs were also from GMA 7.
Here are the Top 10 shows in Mega Manila for daytime and primetime programming for December 19, 2007, Wednesday, according to Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS):
Daytime:
1. Whammy Push Your Luck – 18.4%
2. Kapamilya Deal or No Deal – 18.2%
3. Eat Bulaga – 17.1%
4. Pilipinas Game KNB? – 16.8%
5. Daisy Siete – 15.8%
6. Wowowee – 15.1%
7. Takeshi’s Castle – 14.8%
8. Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig – 14.1%
9. Pinoy Movie Hits – 12.4%
10. My Only Love – 11.8%
Primetime:
1. Marimar – 39.9%
2. Kamandag – 38.4%
3. Zaido – 35.2%
4. La Vendetta – 30.5%
5. 24 Oras – 28.5%
6. Lastikman – 25.2%
7. Princess Sarah – 24.9%
8. TV Patrol World – 24.3%
