Here’s the ranking of the 6 film entries before Desperadas, Banal and Anak ni Kumander hit the screens:

1. Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo – P68.3 M

2. Enteng Kabisote 4 – P66.6 M

3. Shake, Rattle and Roll 9 – P41.6 M

4. Resiklo – P15.6M

5. Bahay Kubo – P12.6 M

6. Katas ng Saudi – P2.8 M

Just like in Hollywood, sequels are hit among movie-goers and this is also the trend being set in Metro Manila Film Festival where the top 3 are continuation of previous hits. Senator Bong Revilla should learn from this trend and make a sequel of his biggest MMFF hit (i think its Exodus). Just my two cents worth.
