Coffee Prince Debuts Strong in TV Ratings

GMA’s newest koreanovela “Coffee Prince” secured the network’s 6th program in the primetime top 10 besting ABS-CBN’s Maging Sino Ka Man on January 1 and 2. The new Koreanovela registered an impressive 20.7% on the first night of the new year and improved to 21.9 percent on January 2. As you may already know, the Top 5 in the primetime race led by Marimar are still immovable and unchallenged. ABS-CBN’s koreanovela “Spring Waltz” which was first aired on QTV 11 was nowhere to be found in the Top 10.
In the daytime race, however, Kris Aquino‘s Kapamilya Deal or No Deal was able to grab the top spot once again on January 1 beating GMA’s Daisy Siete, Eat Bulaga and Whammy. On January 2, it came back to 4th place while Daisy Siete regained the no. 1 position.
Here are the Top 10 daytime and primetime programs from January 1 to 2 based on overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen among Mega Manila households.
