Pinoy Renaldo Lapuz Stuns Judges on American Idol Season 7

There is one contestant on the Dallas audition of American Idol season 7 that knocked the judges off their feet and he’s none other than a Filipino living in Reno, Nevada named Renaldo Lapuz. The 44-year-old pinoy aspirant performed his original composition “We’re Brothers Forever.”
Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and even Ryan Seacrest, who obviously having a good time, stood, sang and danced with Renaldo while singing: “I am your brother, your best friend forever, singing these songs the music that you love. We’re brothers till the end of time, together or not, you’re always in my mind.”
Simon Cowell has a positive thing to say to Renaldo. The acid-tongued judge said, “I’m going to make a prediction here. I have a horrible feeling that it’s going to be a hit record. You’re very entertaining. I actually like you but it’s going to be ‘No.’”
As of the moment, Renaldo has his own official website and his American Idol audition is now a popular ringtone. His Youtube video is on the verge of getting viral. He could be the next best thing after William Hung and as Simon has predicted, his composition could become a hit someday.

just watched kanina ung replay sa qtv.. di naman nakakatawa ung ginawa nya.. d ba knows naman nya na overaged siya kaya ung goal lang niya e a little fame? but i appreciate ung pagiging sport nya, he didnt do or say negative things sa mga judges kahit hindi sya pinalad.. baka yumaman siyang bigla instant sikat.. next william hung talaga.. musta na kaya un? she bangs she bangs.. hehe

To all nay-sayers about Renaldo and to those who are ashamed of him, you should be the ones who be ashamed of yourselves! He is simple and humble and have a child-like innocence in him. His song and performance promotes LOVE, BROTHERHOOD and WORLD PEACE! What is to be ashamed of that? He just contributed something to the world in spite of his being simple.
Before you say anything negative about this guy… think to yourselves… have you ever done anything that made an impact to the world? THIS GUY DEFINITELY IS DOING THAT! And besides i think those nay-sayers are just envious because this guy is going to EARN BIG BUCKS buy doing his stint!

Hoy, ano kayo… pinandidirian niyo si Renaldo pero sa totoo gusto lang niyang magbigay-kasiyahan sa mga tao. At least he has goodwill toward all people, hindi katulad ninyo na ang alam lang e mamintas. Inosente yung outlook niya sa buhay. Tama lang na si Simon yung hinahangaan niyang judge kasi si Simon lang ang talagang professional at hindi pinagbabasehan and pag-judge sa “feelings”. He deserves his newfound fame, lalo na kasi MAS MAGALING SIYANG KUMANTA KAYSA KAY WILLIAM HUNG. At isa pa, hindi siya katulag nung mga ABNORMAL na mga kano na walang talent pero sobrang egotistical.
