Our very own Dorothy Delasin and Jennifer Rosales gave the Philippines a surprising win in the Women’s World Cup January 20, 2008 in Sun City, South Africa
Delasin (ranked 156th in the world) and Rosales (ranked 338th in the world), birdied the last four holes to finish two ahead of Korean pair Ji-Yai Shin and Eun-Hee Ji on 18 under.
Japan and Taiwan were joint-third, and Wales took a share of sixth on 10 under par.
“This is a very big day for all Filipinos around the world and it will definitely be good for golf in the Philippines,” Rosales said.
Delasin added: “The putt on 17 was tough and I had an angel with me on the 18th. I had no fear.”

Good Job Guys, Keep it up.
Masyadong ng keso yung PROUD TO BE PINOY eh. Pag sinasabe mo yan para bang bihira lang mangyare ang ganitong karangalan sa mga Pinoy.
Lets always think Pinoy is on par with everybody else in the world. Have u heard japanese, americans says PROUD TO BE (AMERICAN, JAPANESE ETC…). Hindi pa di ba? Kung meron man bihira lang.
Kasi natural lang sa kanila yan, they can do everything and excel in anything naturally. and lets think the same thing.
ANYWAY, TRULY, THIS TWO ARE WORLD\’S BEST GOLFER.
