Regine Velasquez Reveals Career Status on The Buzz

Regine Velasquez, on a live interview by Boy Abunda on the Buzz, said that she was hurt a little bit when ABS-CBN denied that the kapamilya network offered her the lead role of its upcoming teleserye – the local version of “Betty La Fea.”

With the way the interview went, i guess we can say that Regine Velasquez is still proud to be a Kapuso.
Here’s GMA’s Official Statement regarding the matter:
“GMA Network Inc. values Regine Velasquez as an exceptional and professional artist. It is true that in the past several weeks, there have been continuous discussions and negotiations between Regine, her manager, Cacai, and the officers of the network. We are thankful that at this point there is now a more open communication and clear-cut projects to suit both the network’s programming and Regine’s schedules.”
