Last February 29, we started a poll about who do you want to play the controversial role of "Betty La Fea", the local version of the popular Colombian tv series to be aired on ABS-CBN. With 479 respondents, 20% think Bea Alonzo is the one appropriate for the role. On the other hand, Regine Velasquez is just 1% behind Bea as 19% favored Asia's Songbird. Mariel Rodriguez, Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez were also considered for the role but their hosting jobs in Pinoy Big Brother will kinda complicate their schedules.

Ara Mina said she was flattered if ever considered for the role.

Pokwang said it’s nearly impossible for her to play Betty La Fea if ever offered for the role because the crew will have a major difficulty in making her ugly.
