Janina is our representative in the Miss World pageant and i would pray and support her. Nobodys perfect. Janina is beautiful. She is young, has so much to offer and is willing to learn. Goodluck Janina.

What\’s with everyone thinking these contestants need to know English?! If you guys haven\’t noticed already, I can name dozens of Miss Universe and Miss World winners who have great intelligence and beauty but can\’t even say a lick of English yet they still manage to win!

I\’d be full of pride if they went to Miss World or Miss Universe and answered their answers in any Filipinos language with great wisdom and thought. Wouldn\’t you want to hear the language of the Filipinos itself being said on internaitonal stage rather than a forced upon langauge like English.

yes….maybe Janina can learn english BUT it\’s unfair to the contestants who did not make mistakes and were not over confident and were also dreaming of being the winner of the pageant….let\’s not forget about them..magaganda rin naman sila…..hay naku…..

MIss World has 7 months to practise english. Diba dapat beauty na brain pa. Well she has the beauty already which u can’t learn, but the knowledge can be learned, 7 months is freaking long time. good lang na lng sa kanya. I have high hope na makakaya nia yan.

People may have the right to question and react to what had happen to this pageant. Many said that this is marred by politics…

Ms. Janina San Miguel winning the Ms. World…
was said as the most unexpectable and controversial part of the pageant…

We Filipinos always criticize our fellows…

bakit kung kayo ba ung nsa sa situation ni janina 100% sure ba kayong makakasagot kayo fluently and directly…

Tapos na ang contest kya let put an end to this…
maawa n nman kau kay Janina…

still wala n taung mgagawa bout that…

about nman kina dennis trillo and marian rivera judging the pageant…

does it mean artista sila bobo n sila?…

ang Pinoy nga nman….

Pero nung 17 ako, mas magaling pa siya sa akin na mag english. Praktis lang yan. Nobody is perfect. You are NATURAL, that\�s the reason you won, aside from the thing that LIKE all of us, you care for your family. GREAT!
Keep it up… pero praktis sa english para sa Miss World. WORLD na kasi yon.

candidate # 15 ms san miguel don\’t deserve the title as ms.world..kakahiya sa pilipinas pag ganyan di marunong mang english ang candidate ng bansa natin.. ano nag yari sa organizer ng BB.pilipinas? dapat bawiin ang crown kay ms san miguel at ibigay sa mas deserving na candidate either sa 1st and 2nd runner up..

Initially, I also reacted why those who gave good answers were not given the major titles like the bet from Cebu in the recently concluded Bb Pilipinas 2008 pageant. But in the final analysis, I have to agree with the choice of Janina to be our representative to the Miss World pageant. She is tall and truly lovely. The communication skills can be developed in the coming months before the Miss World pageant. Afterall, the reining Miss World Zhang Zilin of China did not do well in her answer to the final question and answer portion in last year�s pageant. Her English was not all perfect when she explained that she could be the bridge between Miss World and Olympics Committee. But like Janina, she was the tallest girl and did so well in the evening gown contest. Visual impact will be Janina�s major arm in the coming Miss World pageant in Kiev. Out bet to Miss Universe pageant Jennifer Barrientos is a facial beauty that can easily be overshadowed by other contestants from India and Mexico.
