After photos of Yilmaz Bektas and Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza were published in several dailies in Turkey, and eventually on the internet in what supposed to look like a date, Ruffa issued a statement saying that she's ok with it.

Ruffa sent the ff: text message to TV Patrol:

Yilmaz is the father of my children and if he chooses to move on, so be it. I wish him the best of luck. Whatever issues we need to discuss we will settle privately within the coming days.

On the other hand, Yilmaz Bektas denied he took out the former Miss Universe on a personal date last March 26, saying the photos taken by paparazzi were just a “business meeting.”

Ylmaz has issued an official statement denying reports about him and Zuleyka because its affecting their private and business life. He cleared out that he only accompanied Zuleyka on her business trip to Turkey as a matter of courtesy. He said he was with Mendoza at the restaurant in his capacity as board chair of the family business Intel Group of Companies, which has interests in several Turkish industries.
