FHM's sexiest woman in the Philippines, Katrina Halili, will now play a protagonist role after 4 years of being typecast as a villain in teleseryes.

Katrina will play the lead role (Christine) in Magdusa Ka, an upcoming Philippine drama on GMA Network, as the eight installment of Sine Novela. The original movie was released back in 1986 with Dina Bonnevie in the starring role. The tv adaptation is to be helmed by Maryo J. delos Reyes.

Playing his leading man is Dennis Trillo (as Rod) while her “kontra-bida” is Iwa Moto (as Millete).
