Bea Alonzo is Betty La Fea

Bea Alonzo was finally chosen by the ABS-CBN management to play the lead role of the Philippine adaptation of the hit Colombian tv series “Betty La Fea”. The news was confirmed by Wenn Deramas, director of such movies as Tanging Ina and Ang Cute ng Ina Mo, who will also helm the Philippine version of “Ugly Betty”.
The original Betty La Fea was shown in various countries from 1999 to 2001. It was first aired in the Philippines via GMA 7. Some countries like Mexico, Spain, Israel, India, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Netherlands, Greece, Croatia, Czech Republic and Portugal also bought the franchise of the Colombian telenovela to have their own version.
The most popular adaptation of the telenovela is the US version “Ugly Betty” which won various awards for Best Comedy series including the Emmys. The star of Ugly Betty, America Ferrera, also won various Best Actress awards for playing the role. T

anyway ang ganda ng ugly betty…im sure mabibigyan ito ng justice ng abs…buti nlng sila ang nkkuha ng franchise

kahit di ako kapamilya…i still congratulate her kasi in fairness..bagy din naman sa kanya..
first choice ko for the role is regine but since kapuso sya..hindi talaga mapupunta yan sa kanya..though i still think na mas bagay kay regine ang role na yan..
pero ok din si bea kasi madaling baguhin ang looks nya from beautiful to ugly and then ugly to beautiful wherein you can reaally see the dramatic change..and in fairness..marunong din naman umarte si bea…

betty en rialidad tu eres bonita pero en la novela que es de la betty la fea no importa que tu seas fea en la novela pero comoquiera siges siendo bonita
