Syesha Mercado performed “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys on American Idol Top 3 performance show. Randy Jackson picked the song for her to sing on the first round.
Randy Jackson said “You did an amazing job on it. I am so happy that you are peaking at the right time in this competition.” Paula Abdul said “I applaud you. You look stunning.” Simon Cowell said “You sang that very well. You look gorgeous.”
CD’s take: Magnificent. Too bad, the top 2 are reserved for the two Davids. If Syesha makes it to the finale, i will have no complaints whatsoever because she’s great and she’s a powerhouse performer!
