5 Kapuso Stars will Compete in 3rd Asia Supermodel Contest

Five kapuso beauties will fly to Guangxi, China today to represent the Philippines in the 3rd Asia Supermodel Contest to be held from May 16 to 25, 2008.
The five kapuso stars who will compete in the said model search are young actress Rhian Ramos; Bb. Pilipinas 2007 1st runner-up Abigail Cruz; StarStruck alums Arci Muñoz and Rhea Nakpil, and newcomer Steph Henares. Steph is the daughter of GMA Artist Center head Ida Henares and the first cousin of Rhian.
The Asia Supermodel Contest is an annual competition sponsored by the Chinese Fashion Association, Guangxi TV station, in cooperation with China Bentley Culture Development Company. It aims to promote Asia’s top models and to help organize the Asian Model Economic Alliance.
40 shortlisted beauties from nearly 100 applicants were selected from participating countries like China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and India.
The five Philippine representatives who were chosen by the Chinese Fashion Association will model the creations of fashion designer Ramon Sabella.

Kapamilya has never produced a star for the last 5 years that Kapuso dominated Mega Manila and ven now with nationwide ratings show Dyesebel as number 1.
Only Kim Chiu can be considered a good discovery and stared in her own primetime show. But aside from her - who else. The SCQs batches 1 and 2 failed to produce starts and even finalists have moved to Kapuso.
Ann Curtis is a Viva talent not Star Magic. Same goes with Sarah G. Bea Alonzo has her own merits but is a star for years already. Kristine Hermosa is nowhere to be found.
Toni G. came from Kapuso. Angel came from Kapuso. Jake came from Kapuso.
So where are your starts ABS-CBN?
Where is the Star Magic. Maligno did not rate. Rounin did not. Princess Sarah started and ended with no one knowing what happended.

NO need i\’m gonna say more!!!!!! I\’ve been a kapuso for 5 years at yan ang pinagsisihan ko.. Comparing the artsit of Gma7 and ABS-CBN is totally different. NApakalayo iha!!!!!! ABS talent is with class, mga talented kahit saan mo dalhin singing, dancing, acting name it…. SAna bago ka mag comment be sure na napapanood mo rin ang show ng ABS huwag 1 sided, huwag biased yan ang tamang panunuri……………… Seems kasi mga kapuso banat ng banat sa pag ko comment. Level wise is 0%….
