Koreanovela ‘Lovers’ Tramples Competition

‘Lovers’ is the first late night Koreanovela of ABS-CBN this year that was able to beat its rival shows on GMA. Prior to ‘Lovers’ were Koreanovela Spring Waltz and To Marry a Millionaire, both beaten by the competition. But the 3rd franchise of the ‘Lovers in Paris’ tv series (now called ‘Lovers’) reigned supreme on its timeslot beating Kung Ako Ikaw last Tuesday and Wednesday and the new GMA musical show Songbird last Thursday.
In the daytime race, however, GMA soap operas Kaputol ng Isang Awit, Magdusa Ka, and Daisy Siete: Prince Charming alternately occupied the no. 1 spot. It’s also interesting to note that Ogie Alcasid’s Da Big Show finally beat Pilipinas Game KNB? last Tuesday and Wednesday. The Edu Manzano game show regained its lead last Thursday.

Number one pa rin ang Dyesebel ng Phenomenal Star na si Marian Rivera,at umaariba na si Glyza Castro ng Kputol ng isan Awit na lalong gumaganda every epispde ,no wonder ang taas ng ratings ng mga Drama rama sa hapon ng Kpuso channel,imagine na beat pa nito ang Eat Bulaga na dating consistent number one sa day time,aba lately lagin gpagn apat na lang ang EB meaning mas exciting to watch na ang mga DramaRama shows,ako man mas gusto ko na ring manuod ng Daisy Siete ,Magdusa Ka at Kaputol kasi sobrang entertaining ang mga seryeng ito,take note ang ratings ng mga nabanggit na serye ha mas mataas na di hamak sa mga pang primetime serye ng Kapamilya shows,so sad naman ,something wrong na talaga sa mga shows ng channel 2,i think its better for the Kapamilya to lay off their creative writers and change it into new and good writers,yung may mas bagong aproach unlike sa mga existing writers nila hay,kakaloka,eto na gawin ba namang sirena si Anne sa Dyosa nila ,good luck baka hampasin lang siya ng buntot ni Dyesebel at baka ipalit lang siya kay Dyaggga,bwa ha ha ha ha…..

Observing that GMA despite its high ratings have the same ad load as ABS-CBN which captures the A&B market more.
‘CLASS’ & ‘MASA’ – A showbiz authority notes that while GMA is way, way ahead of ABS-CBN in the primetime race, both networks are “fully loaded,” meaning overflowing with commercials. One would expect GMA to have much more sponsors than ABS-CBN, yet they’re about even in advertisements.
Why is this so?
The showbiz authority in reference says it’s because advertisers are now considering not only the number of viewers, but quality of shows as well. GMA primetime programs may have the number, large viewership, but ABS-CBN has the quality, the high production values and the technical craftsmanship.
Think of ABS-CBN’s ‘Lobo’ and ‘Maligno’ and ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya,’ the showbiz authority continues. Think of GMA’s ‘Joaquin Bordado’ and ‘Dyesebel’ and ‘Babangon Ako at Dudurugin Kita.’ Compare and see the difference.
Seems that ABS-CBN has the limited A & B market, while GMA has captured the much bigger C, D, & E viewers. And it tells in the ratings. Advertisers target both audiences. Which explains why both channels are “fully loaded.”
A question of “Class” & “Masa.”

yes its true… abs have quality shows…. only the gifted knows it… babangon akot dudururin kita? my goodness pinaka worst na teleserye sa kasaysayan…. lahat ng mga role di bagay sa personality nila…. very poor.
