‘Ikaw Pa Rin Bongga Ka Boy’ A Box-office Flop?

“Ikaw Pa Rin: Bongga Ka Boy” starring Robin Padilla and Ai Ai delas Alas has grossed P10,382,067.72 on its first week, lackluster for major production standards.
Independent movie “Ploning” starring Judy Ann Santos has earned P 11,874,848.08 which is good enough for a film with a limited release. Therefore comparing it with the Viva Films comedy which was shown nationwide, Ploning did very well.
When Love Begins, the co-production of Viva Films with Star Cinema on the other hand, has now grossed P 81,212,617.20 on its 3rd week. The Aga Muhlach-Anne Curtis starrer is now the 2nd top-grossing movie of the year next to My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend of GMA Films and Regal Films.
